Job Description

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Develop Performance-based Training Solutions (ILT, Performance Support, eLearning, etc.)that achieve Performance/Business objectives through strong project planning, outstanding customer service and Instructional Design methodology
  • Employ recognized adult learning principles within the designed Training Solutions
  • Services all areas of the company, including Sales, Customer Care, Field Operations, Account Creation, Central Station, etc.
  • Works collaboratively to solve problems and shares information with peers, customers and leaders as appropriate
  • Maintains all Training Solutions timely and based on need
  • Partners with Trainers to create and implement Training Solutions quickly and effectively
  • Work closely with the Director of Training to promote and administer the Learning Management System throughout the organization
  • May have additional duties as assigned

Job Requirements

Job Requirements/Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent business experience
  • Master’s Degree in Instructional Design or related field is a strong plus but not required
  • 1-5 years experience in the design and development of training modules (eLearning, ILT, etc.)
  • Extensive experience with Learning Management System(s)
  • Demonstrated ability to design/develop learning modules using an authoring tool such as Adobe Captivate, Lectora, Articulate Storyline, or Camtasia Studio
  • Must be able to develop and maintain a high level understanding of all company policies, procedures and protocol
  • Demonstrate malleability and aptitude to learn, process and effectively implement new policies and procedures as corporate standards are modified over time
  • Must possess strong analytical skills
  • Detail-oriented, creative and decisiveness
  • Strong oral and written communicative abilities
  • Ability to work independently and in a team setting
  • Exposure to CRM systems and/or a plus
  • Some travel may be required
