This position will be responsible for the following duties:

• Perform all functions within employment and compensation administration, including liaising between company and outside vendors when needed, submitting survey benchmark data, completing analysis, and providing recommendations to Management
• Support the Human Resources Manager in the execution of progressive discipline review, administration, and coordinates employee off-boarding.
• Responsible for HR file management, both electronic and physical.
• Process internal and external inquiries regarding verification of employment, unemployment, Worker’s Compensation, and other company policies and procedures
• Develop and distribute new-hire onboarding materials and communication tools to enhance the new hire and complete employee experience, including review and updates to the Employee Handbook. Collaborate on new hire orientation and arranges processes for integration with training.
• Perform internal audits to identify potential issues within current operational processes and recommend and establish new policies to enhance the workplace/support Management
• Review, research and resolve HRIS system issues, maintain the HRIS workflow tables and perform/create scheduled activities/reporting. Accurately inputs, audits and maintains employee data within the HRIS system. Works with third party to implement system changes as needed. Documents processes.
• Assists with employee services and counseling and provide referrals/escalate as needed
• Collaborates on a variety of projects, including compensation program design, analysis, budgeting, implementation of new programs. Evaluates and analyzes salary data, determines pay grades, and conducts or participates in compensation surveys. Assists the Human Resources team and other managers with compensation-related issues.
• Partner with Management Team to develop activities, programs, policies and procedures to reflect and enhance the presence and impact of a rewarding corporate culture (e.g. engagement survey analysis, company-sponsored employee activities, health and wellness programs, etc.)
• Troubleshoot issues within HRIS system and work with outside vendors to provide resolution
• May have additional duties as assigned by Management

Job Requirements

Qualifications:
• A Bachelor's Degree and three 3+ years of progressive experience in benefits/HRIS administration, OR Any appropriate combination of education and experience.
• SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or Professional of Human Resources (PHR) are highly preferred.
• Strong abilities in Microsoft Office Suite including an advanced skillset in Excel are highly preferred.
• Ultimate Software knowledge a plus.
• Detailed, organized and good communication skills
